Little Rooms!
Arkansas NAPVI is partnering with several local organizations (e.g. Boy Scouts, 4H, Girls Scouts, etc) on an exciting service project to help visually impaired children. With the help of these groups and several generous donors, we will be building multiple little rooms to distribute to schools and therapists in the state of Arkansas. A Little Room is a great therapy tool to provide a safe and comfortable environment for a visually impaired child to play and become familiar with objects they will need to learn to use.
At our first parents' meeting in Bentonville we gave the first of these away. We hope to distribute an additional 20-30 of these by the end of the year. If you are interested in learning more, please email arkansas_napvi@earthlink.net.
